In less than 24 hours we'll own a house in Antrim. We got the "clear to close" yesterday, and Michelle is on her way to do the final walk-through.
The movers show up tomorrow...I'm looking forward to living in Antrim, but I'm not looking forward to moving :-)
It's after 10PM the last Sunday night I'll be in Woodbridge (we will leave next Sunday morning at the latest for New Hampshire).
I did some organizing and cleaning...but it is going to be just like cramming before the test (I fly for Orlando tomorrow, back Wednesday)...
I can't wait until this is "over" :-)
Although I will admit I'm still pessimistic, it looks like the move to Antrim is a "done deal." The appraisal on the house in Antrim was completed today, and the on my townhouse down here was completed prior to today (without me knowing).
Either way, I'm cautiously optomistic...almost looking forward to looking at the stars again...
I close on this one the 21st...the one in NH on the 24th...
I'm sitting here watching Columbo tie the noose around guest start Rip Torn...there is nothing better than a Columbo episode in my opinion :-)
When I went to Leesylvania Park this morning to read, I was glad to see the Spanish congregation was back...their speaker was pretty energetic. Just hope some day I speak Spanish...
Other than that, I've bought some clothes for Mikey and me, mowed the lawn, done three loads of laundry, changed the kitty litter, converted some tapes to digital form (for a non-profit I help out), and...
After this I'll watch the Simpsons...and then back to useful activities...
Once again I've worked too late on the site...but AntrimNH.info now has a guestbook (http://www.AntrimNH.info/guestbook/).
Other than that I caught two movies..."Pirates of the Caribbean" immediately followed by "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." The first is really good, and the second pretty good.
T3 wins the best movie of the year (so far) in my opinion though...

I've found the guestbook I'll add to the site...and I've begun reorganizing the menu (to better support the addition of more information).
Boring, eh? Well, my life is boring :-)
Oh, and good news from the loan company. They got my paperwork today...and all looks good. I'm trying to move up our closing date...to help ensure our furniture doesn't get to the house before we own it :-)
Nothing new on the house...other than seeing that the loan papers are almost to where they need to go in NH (gotta love package tracking)...
I'm going to head upstairs...catch some TV...and crash...
I just finished reviewing/signing the Countrywide loan application for the house in Antrim...to be UPSed back tomorrow...
Of course, it's not as bad as getting a root canal. Well...that might not be fair to root canals :-)

Today I added a digital clock, text version of the menu (for our Opera using friends and non-Javascript browsers like my PDA's Blazer browser), and a community calendar. That...and a quick facts page...

This morning I went to Leesylvania Park to catch up on this week's Bible readings (please see -> here <-). As soon as I entered the woods, I started itching all over -- I think in anticipation of the insects that would be feasting on me shortly.
Hardly anyone was there when I arrived (just some people fishing on the pier). I had kind of hoped the Spanish congregation that met there last week would be back, but even though the spot showed reserved, there was no service.
I was going to stay and read some of "Modern Physics and Ancient Faith," but I was spending to much time swatting real (and imagined) critters...and the constant whir of boat motors on the Potomac didn't make it feel terrible "natural" anyway...
So back home I went...

Well, here we go...my first web log entry.
Sitting here bored at home (although I have plenty I can do), I decided to make a web site for Antrim, New Hampshire.
When searching last night for something...I ran into a free "blog" script (I wasn't even familiar with that name). So, I definitely wanted a blog on the Antrim site!
That free script turned out to be a lot less "slicK" than I was willing to use...so a bit of searching later, and voila!
I've been working on the site pretty much all afternoon/evening...we'll see how much after midnight it is before I get to bed :-)
